No April Showers, Yet – April 2021 News

No rain, yet, but the warm weather has us eagerly going through our home To Do list to make tasks put on hold over winter “Tah-Done” this spring.

I do have creative news for April:

Self Published Works

I Hear the Angels Singing (micro flash fiction story)

The Western Skink (verse in rhyme)

The two works above I wrote for a special friend’s April birthday. I included them in a unique, personal Happy Birthday eBook (PDF format) that I emailed to her. She loved it!

Then, a few days later, the same friend texted me a photo of wildflowers…inspiration!:

Wildflowers by the Side of the Road (free verse)

Lost Haiku Found

I thought I was done writing for April, until I found another lost haiku verse:

Valentine’s Day (haiku) – Self published on April 27th.

Website Redesign

I’ve also spent April reorganizing my website for future creative efforts.

The most important change is the “Publications” option in the main Menu. I added drop-down sub-menus to my poetry and my short stories. Hover your mouse over “Publications: (or select on your mobile device) to explore these new posts.

I’ll Be Interviewed!

An online literary journal is interviewing me this month for their Author Spotlight feature! (Stay tuned for the publication date of the interview. It will be published on May 22nd! Visit my Interviews page for the link.)
