Hello, friends and followers!

Some of you have encouraged me to add a Tip Jar page to my website, and here it is.

If you would like to express your encouragement, here are a few options:

Gift Cards

Another “fan” suggested I list my favorite Gift Cards. I live in a very rural area, so shopping is limited. Contact me for my physical address/mail box.

About PayPal

My PayPal.me account and link is a Personal Account, and not a Business Account. I initially set it up for some friends to use to send me funds to reimburse me for a large-party meal where I paid the entire bill.

PayPal and Fees

In 2019, an individual sent me funds. PayPal deducted a fee on my end of the transaction. The individual had used their PayPal Merchant or Business Account, but also used a credit card. Instead of that individual paying the fee, I was “dinged” for the fee. I contacted PayPal and after several text messages, they could not explain to me why the fee was applied to my account. I have corporate experience in the financial industry, and their lack of an explanation spurred me to find additional options to my Tip Jar.

If You Want to use PayPal to “Tip” Me…

First, please use cash only, no debit or credit card, which means a direct transaction from your savings or checking account.

Second, only use PayPal if your account is a Personal Account, and not a Business/Merchant Account.
